Elected Representatives
A Panchayat is a local government, not a department. Just as almost all subjects come under consideration in a government, various subjects also come under the purview of the Panchayat. The President, Vice-President, and Standing Committee Chairpersons/Chairpersons (Finance, Development, and Health & Education, Welfare) are subsequently elected from among the ward members elected from each ward.
