Annual Plan 2024–25

The following are the major projects proposed for implementation by the Panchayat in various sectors, along with the total amounts allocated for each project.

The report includes both New projects and SO (Standing Order/Ongoing) projects.

1. Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development

The Grama Panchayat has given considerable priority to the agriculture and animal husbandry sectors:

  • Cattle Feed Subsidy for Dairy Cows: A total of ₹21,71,925 has been allocated under new and ongoing projects.
  • Vegetable Cultivation in Earthen Pots: ₹12,51,200 is expected to be spent.
  • Backyard Poultry Farming: The project is being implemented at a cost of ₹11,05,000.
  • Paddy Cultivation Subsidy: A total of ₹8,77,290 has been allocated under new and ongoing projects.
  • Subsidy for Dairy Farmers: An amount of ₹8,00,000 has been earmarked.

2. Health

  • Purchase of Medicines for the Ayurveda Dispensary: ₹8,00,000.
  • Distribution of Menstrual Cups: The project is being implemented at a cost of ₹6,00,000.
  • Purchase of Medicines for the Family Health Centre: ₹5,00,000 has been allocated.
  • Jeevathalam Project – Including Financial Assistance to Cancer Patients: ₹5,00,000.
  • Medicines/Medical Equipment for the Dispensary: ₹5,00,000.

3. Social Welfare, Education and Child Welfare

  • Scholarships for Students with Disabilities: A total of ₹20,65,800 has been allocated under new and ongoing projects.
  • Repair and Maintenance of Anganwadis: ₹8,00,000 is expected to be spent.
  • Completion of Construction of Senior Citizen Centres: ₹5,95,000.
  • Making Houses Habitable – Ashraya Families: A total of ₹8,00,000 has been allocated under new and ongoing projects.
  • Construction of Compound Walls for Anganwadis: ₹4,00,000.

4. Sanitation and Other Construction Activities

  • Household Biodegradable Waste Management (Composting): ₹18,75,000 has been allocated for the new project.
  • Renovation and Protection of Public Wells: ₹6,01,000 is expected to be spent.
  • Rent for Haritha Karma Sena: ₹2,07,422.
  • Preparation of Biodiversity Register: ₹3,00,000.
